Ranch to Butcher

All our beef is raised in the Texas Hill Country. At approximately 20 - 24 months of age we deliver our beef to Dutchman’s Market, a USDA certified butchering plant located in Fredericksburg, Texas. The butcher will process, age, package, freeze and box the meat accordingly. Dutchman’s Market will contact the customer when the order is ready for pick up. A processing fee of  approximately $1.00 per lb., will be due and payable to Dutchman’s Market upon receipt.

1/4 Share

Hillside Beef is sold in “shares”. We sell whole, half, quarter, and sixth shares. A sixth share is about 65 lbs of meat, including an assortment of steaks (cut 1 1/4” thick), roasts, hamburger and specialty cuts. A 1/6 share will fill a normal size freezer.

Orders may be placed at any time of the year. Payment of shares is required prior to butchering and may be made payable to Hillside Beef.
